Corten House - Villa in Sicilia

Ersilia was AMAZING! She gave very clear instructions on how to access the house and was super-quick to respond to any questions. She shared her restaurant recommendations in the area- we enjoyed testing them out! The house was beautiful- very clean, spacious with high quality furnishings. We loved Modica- a different restaurant every night and it was nice to come back to somewhere calm and peaceful each evening. Would definitely recommend

We had a fantastic experience with this holiday home provider. The villa we rented was outstandingly beautiful, very well equipped and in perfect shape. We never had a holiday home this perfect. Our contact person, Ersilia, was incredibly helpful, always quick to respond to any questions we had and went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. The entire booking process was very professional and completely hassle-free. Highly recommended!

This villa is amazing. The huge picture windows and the view of the gardens plus Modica across the valley is unreal. It’s extremely comfortable for 3 adults. The outdoor area is beautiful, so many fruit trees and herbs in the gardens. The interior and exterior lighting is perfect and magical. Lots of spaces to unwind. AC throughout, screens on all windows and doors. Extraordinarily peaceful. 10-15 minutes to Modica. Host gave us great recommendations and set us up with a driver for our stay. They also stocked the fridge for us. I guess if there is anything to know it’s that the villa is on a steep road, but that also means you have an amazing view. Absolutely 5 stars, would go back anytime. I only wish we had more days to stay. If you are on the fence, book it!

We had a wonderful stay at Corten House. There were only 3 of us, but could easily have felt comfortable with more as there are so many private places to relax. Fantastic pool, everything spotlessly clean, welcome basket of fruit, great recommendations from Ersilia who checked in with us several times via email. The only issue was weak wifi. If you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you, stairs and uneven paving (not uncommon in Italy). Modica was about a 6 minute drive away for supplies or eating out. Fully equipped kitchen, plus outdoor bbq with another kitchen. 

We stayed 2 wks at Corten House with my family of 5. And we were in for a treat upon arrival! The house is very nice, the authentic stones for the walls, and the add-on with the living room and kitchen, all the rooms very well designed. But the clear winner was the outdoor space, what a garden!!, and beautifully lit during the evening, lovely, lovely, lovely. Very much liked the outdoor kitchen, and from there gazing over the infinity pool into the scenery. The villa itself has got an ideal location, just outside of Modica, and all the trips are within driving distance, e.g. Etna, Noto, Agrigento. Isulatravel and Ersilia were good hosts. If I had a question or anything, Ersilia offered the solution. I can definitely recommend Isulatravel, and for sure I will work with them in the future. Corten House, thats a special magical place and I can recommend to rent this oasis of tranquility, definitely a place to build memories. Will miss the garden with its stunning views, but the memory will stay forever 😊.
